anything happening in the city or elsewhere we have our wonderful media to cover it up and bring us updates.. that's the best part about having television and the internet. but yet again did anyone ever think how celebrities and other important people are being ripped off their personal lives. being mentally torchured with all the oo-ahh from the public. we mercilessly and shamelessly make them a public property and let anyone and everyone have a total insight into their personal lives.

take an example of ya everyday gossips:
gossips on da good sides of celebrities often turn out to be boring
n it is the ugly sides that attracts attention.
moreover olmost everyone's interest is more bout their private lifes...
n it so often happen in ur peer groups that if u dun knoe much of a celebrity's pvt stories,u turn out to b a jerk!
but these r jus the common perceptions...
on the other hand r gen dun giva darn damn thing bout celebs life for it has got nothin to do wit their life...m nat sure if we're being optimistic o' we're being another jerks!...

yea... i think that the media really goes over board!! We get irritated when there are rumors in school about us... and here it being published on such a large scale, i can't even imagine what stars go through. It can be really offending, irritating and degrading.
ReplyDeletethat is just one part of it... media, be it news or whatever has to be spiced up... you never know if its exaggerated. Also an actor would make the front page because of a stupid act of his as opposed to a rape,murder etc of a normal person..
also i would like to bring in the mumbai terrorists attack... the media was trying to give us instant acsess to it... and were showing us live action... not realizing that the terrorists could have been watching as well.. and could see the police entering live!!!
also media banns and sensors all the wrong things...!!!!
that's a very interesting point nikita about the terrorist attack. But yet again that's why they are called the news channels to give us live coverage. that's what the public want.... you can't really blame them. can you?
ReplyDeletebut about the media i think that many a times they just misuse their power and in order to make money and attract crowd, they ruin people's lives by publishing fake news. which is a very wrong thing to do!! And this is happening so often these days that we don't even know who to trust and who not to. they make it all sound and look so real. it just fascinates me!!
see i understand that renita... but they should not show this kind of coverage live... cause it's just helping the terrorist's... they could have shown it like after 1 hour or something ???
